Christmas is coming
23 August 2010

First of all, I apologise profusely for bringing the subject up in August, for goodness' sake. Every year it feels so wrong to be talking about Christmas when it's only August, but needs must, as retailers are organised people who have to plan ahead and they need to know what's on offer for this year's festivities.

Here we go with Christmas 2010, then, and this year's cards feature bonny tweed and tartan Christmas tree baubles. The Harris Tweed is a lovely, ruby red, the tartans are predominantly greens and reds and they're embellished with little stars, just to add a touch of glitz. What is it about red and green together that just says "Chistmas"? No, I don't know either, but it's just the right combination, somehow. Each bonny bauble looks so pretty, if I do say so myself.

So orders can be taken now for the Tweedmatters bonny bauble cards. Just go to the Christmas card page for more details. Here's a sneak preview:

LAZYHILL GALLERY IN DORSET STOCKS TWEEDMATTERS CARDS
17 July 2010

Our newest stockist and by far the most southerly is the new Lazyhill Gallery in Chapel Lane, Abbotsbury, Dorset. The gallery only opened this month, so we wish them every success in this new venture.

Lazyhill Gallery is in a gorgeous part of the world and we're sure they will have lots of appreciative visitors over the coming months and years. Amongst all the lovely things they stock, you will find a selection of Tweedmatters framed collages and greetings cards, such as this one:

This is a little cupcake card which seems appropriate for the new gallery celebrating its opening. If you can't get to the new gallery for one, you can snap one up on www.tweedmatters.com right now.
