COMING SOON...
03 July 2008

Later on in the summer you will be able to see Tweedmatters items at notonthehighstreet.com and we are naturally very excited about being invited to put our cards and collages onto such a prestigious website.

In the meantime, however,  we are not able to fulfill any new orders before 20th July. Any orders placed in the meantime will be dealt with in due course, but I'm afraid they will not be dispatched until after that date. We're sorry for any inconvenience which this might cause.

You can still pick up some Tweedmatters goodies at our usual stockists throughout the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, of course. In particular:

Castle Gallery, Inverness

Maggie's Tearoom, Dundonnell, Ross-shire

Captain's Cabin, Ullapool, Ross-shire

Ullapool Bookshop, Ullapool, Ross-shire

Ceilidh Place, Ullapool, Ross-shire

Green Kite, Strathpeffer, Ross-shire

Patterns of Light, Kishorn, Ross-shire

An Lanntair, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis

Woodland Centre, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis

The Glorious 23rd!
12 June 2008

Never mind the Glorious 12th - if you're coming up to the Scottish Highlands this August, give the poor old grouse a break. The really crucial date is August 23rd, when you should head for the Ledgowan Lodge Hotel at Achnasheen in Wester Ross. The journey there will be a joy, as the scenery is stunning. When you arrive there you will find scrumptious lunches and teas on offer and, most important of all, there will be a craft fair in full swing from 11.00am onwards. Guess who will be there, (apart from you, obviously)? Yes, Tweedmatters is having a well-earned day out, too! Sadly, we will miss "Round the Pier, summer's here" in Ullapool this July, so we're having a summer outing to Achnasheen instead. See you there.

A little memento of the Scottish Highlands: if you don't pick one up at the craft fair in August, this heather and Harris Tweed card will find its way to your door for only £3.75 including p&p. (More details on the floral cards page).
