The event at the Bishop's Palace in Inverness was very busy, as was the Victorian Fair at Brodie Castle near Nairn last weekend. It was great to chat to so many customers in the lovely surroundings of both properties. Feedback is always welcome and very useful to us as a business. This weekend's event is our local Christmas Fair in Ullapool village hall. We always prefer to attend that rather than any of the bigger Highland events over the first weekend in December. Well, it's an important part of the local social calendar and it would be a shame to miss it. So if you're in Wester Ross on Saturday 5th December, do call in, buy some raffle tickets and pick up some Christmas gifts and cards from the Tweedmatters stall. I'll be very disappointed if there aren't mince pies on offer, too! As usual, we'll make a donation to our local Pipe Band after the event. 

Perhaps this is a good opportunity to say to all our customers that Ralph, Ian and I wish you and your families a very peaceful and Happy Christmas and a great New Year!
